Hello busy bees!
Thank you all so much for joining us for the 3rd annual Tokyo Spelling Bee earlier this month - this year's competition was bigger and more exciting than ever.
We had a record number of 3rd and 4th grade students join us - 26! - and we had 16 schools represented at the Tokyo Spelling Bee, including: American School in Japan, Nishimachi, India International School, Laurus International School of Science, Victory International School, Tokyo YMCA International School, Waseda International Christian School, K International School, Kohana International School, Global Indian International School, and more!
Our 5th and 6th grade competition, as well as our 7th and 8th grade competition, went past 20 rounds of spelling! All three of our competitions had heated battles for 1st place.
We would like to announce our winners for this year's spelling bee.
3rd/4th Grade:

2nd Place - Noah from American School in Japan
1st Place - Gieann from Victory International School
5th/6th Grade:
3rd Place - Kaythan from Waseda International Christian School
1st Place - TIE - Co-Champions:
Joanna from Kohana International School

7th/8th Grade:
3rd Place: Aryan from Global Indian International School
2nd Place: Saiuri from India International School in Japan
1st Place: Ishan from India International School in Japan
